SharePoint Text column
Single-line text, the workhorse SP column. Maps to Text, Email, Phone, URL, Color, Time, and Geolocation fields.
The SharePoint Text column type stores a single line of text up to 255 characters. It is the most-used column type and binds to seven SharePoint Forms365 fields:

Write shape
Plain JS string. null clears the column.
Edge cases
- Max length, 255 characters. Longer values are rejected by SP with a clear error.
- Whitespace, preserved. The runtime does not trim; if you need trimming, do it explicitly in
onBeforeSave. - Underscored system columns, fields like
_UIVersionStringrequire anOData__prefix on$select. The field mappers handle this for you; if you query SP directly via f365.sp, watch for it.
