JavaScript recipes
The text block is not directly addressable from JS yet, drive it through the
{Field} placeholders in its text instead. Set the text to something like
Hello {FirstName}, then keep that field populated.
Populate a placeholder on load
// Text block = "Welcome, {Greeting}"
f365.events.onLoad(() => {
const me = f365.user.current();
f365.field('Greeting').value = me.title;
});
Keep the text in sync as the user types
// Text block = "Reviewing, {ProjectName}"
f365.events.onChange((e) => {
if (e.fieldKey === 'ProjectName') {
// The text block re-renders automatically because it interpolates
// {ProjectName}; no further action needed.
}
});
