Quote

A blockquote styled with a left border accent, for testimonials, policy excerpts, regulatory citations.

A blockquote, left border accent, indented, slightly muted text. Use for testimonials, policy excerpts, or regulatory citations the form needs to display verbatim.

Display-only: it holds no value and writes nothing to SharePoint. The text accepts {Field} and [System] placeholders, which re-interpolate live as the referenced fields change.

The quoted content. Supports {Field} and [System] placeholders, e.g. {CustomerName} or [Today].

JavaScript recipes

The quote block is display-only and isn't directly addressable from f365.*. Drive its content indirectly: point the quote text at a field token, then set that field from JS.

Drive quote content via a token-referenced field

// Quote text authored as: “{TestimonialText}”
f365.events.onChange(async (e) => {
  if (e.fieldKey !== 'Customer') return;
  const customerId = e.newValue;
  if (!customerId) {
    f365.field('TestimonialText').value = '';
    return;
  }
  const item = await f365.sp.web.lists
    .getById('{customers-list-guid}')
    .items.getById(customerId)
    .select('Quote')
    .get();
  f365.field('TestimonialText').value = item.Quote ?? '';
});

Personalise the quote with the current user

// Quote text authored as: “Welcome back, {Greeting}.”
f365.events.onLoad(() => {
  f365.field('Greeting').value = f365.user.current().title;
});
