Banner

A full-width attention block, typically at the top of the form, announcements, system status, expired-form notices.

A full-width banner, coloured background, optional icon, optional dismiss button. Use sparingly: an announcement at the top of an expired form, a system maintenance notice, a "your submission has expired" header on a read-only view.

JavaScript recipes

The banner element is not yet directly addressable from f365.control(...), so its text / severity are set in the designer. The recipes below drive the surrounding behaviour, gate visibility with a visibleIf rule on the banner, or fire a complementary toast.

Toast a matching notice on load

f365.events.onLoad(() => {
  if (f365.context.displayMode === 'display') {
    f365.ui.showToast('This form is read-only.', 'info');
  }
});

React to a field that the banner warns about

f365.events.onChange((e) => {
  if (e.fieldKey === 'Status' && e.newValue === 'Expired') {
    f365.ui.showToast('This record has expired, edits are blocked.', 'error');
  }
});
