Textarea field
Multi-line free text, for paragraphs, descriptions, notes, and anywhere a single-line text field would overflow.
The Textarea field accepts multi-line free text, descriptions, internal notes, problem reports, anything where the user needs more than one line to express themselves.
It binds to SharePoint's Note column type (also known as Multiple lines of text), with
optional rich-text support when the column is configured as RichText.

Append to the value (e.g. timestamped log entries)
const stamp = new Date().toISOString().slice(0, 16);
const prev = f365.field('Notes').value ?? '';
f365.field('Notes').value = `${prev}\n[${stamp}] ${f365.user.current().displayName}: `;
Validate minimum length
f365.field('Notes').on('validate', (value) => {
if ((value ?? '').trim().length < 30) {
return 'Please provide at least 30 characters of context.';
}
});
